Two weeks ago, I and a few family members went on a trekking adventure in Taal Volcano in Talisay, Batangas. And it was one of the best nature trips I’ve had so far. Over three hours of back and forth trekking. I bathed in sweat. The trail was easy for first timers (I am not a first timer though) despite the few ravines and steep trails. It was tiring but you will forget about it when you reached the summit.
First time ko nakakita ng bibig ng buklan. It looks like a dormant blue green lake lang, actually. Pero parang malapot ‘yong tubig. And I noticed whitish thingies na parang evaporated milk na binuhos sa champorado. May mga parts na umuusok talaga. The view of the Taal crater from the Red Lava was awesome! Although medyo buwis-buhay ang pagtulay sa cliff na ito, pero di mo na maiisip na matakot after you see the view. Magfi-feeling kang nasa top of the world. Makikita mo kasi in 360 view lahat ng nasa ibaba–the Taal lake, the crater, the mountains and ant-sized people.
I really loved the experience! So, we’re planning to go trek another volcano next time. 🙂
